Huatulco for tourists
When we travel to a new destination, the same question always arises: What to do in this place? We want to know what experiences we will live and what awaits us in every corner. The million dollar question is: What to do in Huatulco? As a travel agent, I always recommend two key experiences to get to know the best of Huatulco: the Bays Tour and the City Tour. These two activities offer a complete perspective of the destination, both by sea and by land. With them, you can explore the highlights of this paradise quickly and fascinatingly. The experience that will fill your soul If you ask me what is the most profound experience that will truly connect you with the essence of the place, my answer would undoubtedly be: the Waterfall Tour. Why? Because being surrounded by pure nature and disconnected from the world (without phone signal or distractions) is a feeling that renews you. From the moment you start walking towards the largest waterfall, the imposing trees and pools of crystal-clear water envelop you in an atmosphere of peace. It is a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature and feel that freedom that we often forget. The Eco Tour: A window to nature Another of Huatulco's favorite experiences is the famous Eco Tour, a journey that takes you to Ventanilla and its impressive crocodile lagoon. Here you will learn about the different mangroves that surround the lagoon, understand why the color of the water changes, and have the opportunity to see crocodiles in their natural habitat, an exciting experience. The tour continues to a small island where you can interact with deer and feed them. To close with a flourish, you will visit the Magical Town of Mazunte, the legendary nudist beach of Zipolite, and the charming Puerto Ángel, three destinations full of history and local charm. Turtle release and bioluminescence: The finishing touch To conclude your adventure in Huatulco, an unforgettable experience is the release of turtles along with a visit to the bioluminescent lagoon. When you hold a little turtle in your hands, you understand the incredible journey it has had to make to get here, ready to begin its life in the sea. It is a moment of reflection, where you realize that not all of them will survive, but it is part of the cycle of life that you witness firsthand. Finally, you will dive into the bioluminescent waters, a magical experience that seems out of this world. The light that emanates from the water as it moves is hard to believe, but it is one of those natural phenomena that you have to experience to understand. In short, Huatulco is not just beaches and sun. It is a destination that offers experiences full of nature, culture and moments that will mark you forever. Dare to discover it!

What Plan Do You Have? vs. Combos
When we travel to an unknown destination, we often face a common problem: so many options and so little time. From the moment we arrive, we are overwhelmed with uncertainty about what to do, where to go, and what activities to choose. Sometimes, that indecision can turn into frustration, and the fear of making a bad decision haunts us. What if you don't like what you chose? What if you feel like you wasted a valuable day of your vacation? These questions are more common than you might imagine, and it is precisely from this feeling of concern that we decided to create two new solutions: "What Plan Do You Have?" and "Combos." The magic behind the Combos When we talk about "Combos," we are talking about the favorite experiences, the most requested by those who have visited Huatulco. These packages were carefully designed by our travel agents, who know the preferences of tourists in detail. After years of experience and feedback, they have managed to combine the activities most loved by everyone into irresistible packages. Combos not only aim to simplify your search, but they ensure that you live the most popular experiences without having to worry about every little detail. So, with just one choice, you are sure to enjoy the best that Huatulco has to offer, based on what other travelers have loved. What Plan Do You Have? – Exploring beyond the conventional This section is very special to us, especially to our creator. During his time touring Huatulco, he noticed something that many overlook: the magical places that often do not feature in traditional tours. Unique corners that, although not as well known, hide indescribable beauty and offer unforgettable experiences. "What Plan Do You Have?" was born from that need to give life and visibility to those places. Through personalized and carefully designed plans, this section allows travelers to discover what only a few lucky ones have experienced. Each plan is designed for you to enjoy to the fullest, in an intimate atmosphere, whether with your family or as a couple. These itineraries, being private, ensure that you can explore every corner with time and attention, just as our creator experienced in his own experiences. The difference that the experience makes The big difference between "Combos" and "What Plan Do You Have?" is in the type of experience you are looking for. If you prefer a safe option, already tested by thousands of tourists, the Combos are your best option. However, if you are attracted by adventure, by exploring the lesser known and want a more intimate tour, then "What Plan Do You Have?" is the perfect plan for you. In short, we have created these two sections thinking of each type of traveler. Because we understand that traveling is not just about getting to a place, but about how you feel while exploring it. We want to eliminate uncertainty and frustration, and replace them with confidence, adventure and unforgettable moments. What type of traveler are you? Do you prefer the safety of the Combos or do you dare to discover the unknown with "What Plan Do You Have? Choose your adventure and start enjoying the best of Huatulco!

Guide to virgin beaches: Playa del Órgano Part 1
Hello traveler! We hope you are enjoying your vacation. We know that upon your arrival you may be expecting a quiet and relaxing vacation. In our beautiful tourist destination there are 36 different beaches, many of them are quiet beaches and visitors have very little information about them. Therefore, here we will tell you which ones they are and how you can visit them, all of this recommended by our Ocean Travel team. Those of us who live in Huatulco enjoy the beaches that are less crowded by people, that is why they are secret places that we visit to have a quiet moment, away from the center of La Crucecita. For this we have prepared some recommendations so that your visit to this paradise is as good and calm as possible. Before starting our journey, we recommend bringing a beach umbrella, speaker, beach chairs, garbage bags to collect all our garbage and, with that, be ready for our transfer. Our next stop will be the closest store to be able to buy snacks and drinks that we crave due to the hot climate of Huatulco. Remember to also use sunscreen and stay hydrated, as many beaches we will recommend do not have palapas or shops nearby. Now that we are completely ready with our things, we have different options to choose from, which are perfect for enjoying the whole day with family, partner or friends. Stay tuned in the coming weeks, as we will be recommending beaches that are little known to outsiders throughout the year. First Beach: Playa Órgano: Located in the paradisiacal destination of Huatulco, Oaxaca, it is a hidden gem that is distinguished by its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere. This beach, with crystal-clear waters and fine sand, is perfect for those looking to enjoy the serenity of the Pacific Ocean. The name of the beach comes from a rock formation that, when viewed from certain angles, resembles a musical organ, adding a unique and picturesque touch to the landscape. Playa El Órgano is surrounded by hills and tropical vegetation, which makes it even more special and isolated, providing a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle. It is a place where you can enjoy nature at its best, without the large crowds that usually characterize other, more well-known beaches. The sea at El Órgano is an intense blue and its waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, with a rich marine life that includes colorful fish and underwater rock formations. It is a very suitable beach for those who enjoy the tranquility of the sea, since the waves are generally gentle, although there can sometimes be some current, which also makes it an excellent place for those more experienced in diving. Access to the beach is a little more complicated than other more popular beaches in the region, but this exclusivity only adds to its charm. Upon reaching Playa El Órgano, we have to walk approximately 10 minutes on a path, terrain without climbs or descents. The interesting thing is that, the closer you get to the beach, you see how the flora changes compared to the entrance. It can be reached via a boat ride from Bahías de Huatulco, which also offers a unique experience, with panoramic views of the coast and its cliffs. Playa El Órgano is an ideal refuge for those looking to disconnect from routine, surrounded by intact nature and a clean, calm sea. Its natural beauty, its relaxed atmosphere and its isolation make it a perfect destination to enjoy a perfect day in paradise.

Playa la India, the paradise that a few know about
Did you know that Playa La India was once considered by National Geographic as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world? It is also located within one of the most impressive bays in Huatulco. Imagine spending a day on a pristine, virgin beach where the landscape blends the beauty of the sea with the dry tropical forest. As you lie on its soft white sand, surrounded solely by nature, listening to the sound of the waves and swimming in refreshing crystal-clear water, you'll live an experience you simply cannot miss. Playa La India is a virgin beach with calm waters, located in Chachacual Bay within Huatulco National Park. This bay is one of the nine that make up Huatulco, Oaxaca. Access is only by sea, which keeps the area quiet, uncrowded, and beautifully preserved. Activities you can enjoy: Snorkeling to observe colorful fish and part of the reef. Swimming and relaxing in its calm waters. Walking along the beach and admiring the landscape, flora, and fauna. Sitting on the sand to rest and take in the natural surroundings. How to get there? Since it is a virgin and isolated beach, the only way to reach it is by sea, either by boat or private yacht. From the Santa Cruz or Chahué docks, the trip takes approximately 40 minutes. If you wish to experience this adventure, you can book a bays tour, where a specialized guide will ensure an even more enjoyable visit. What to bring? Since it is a virgin beach, there are no restaurant services, so it is recommended to bring cash, as local vendors usually sell snacks, as well as enough water to stay hydrated. It’s important to apply sunscreen due to the strong sun exposure. Additionally, because it is located within the National Park, there tend to be more mosquitoes, so bringing insect repellent is recommended to avoid bites. Playa La India is a little-known destination and an excellent option for those who want to escape large crowds and reconnect with nature while breathing fresh, clean air. We invite you to discover and enjoy this wonderful paradise in a conscious and responsible way, respecting the local flora and fauna.

A conservation experience focused on environmental awareness and a deep connection with nature. Sea turtle releases are one of the most meaningful experiences you can have in Oaxaca. Along its extensive coastline—from Mazunte and La Ventanilla to Puerto Escondido and Huatulco. Local communities and turtle conservation camps work day and night to protect these endangered species and allow visitors to participate responsibly and educationally in their preservation. Participating in a turtle release is not only an emotional moment, but also a direct way to support environmental preservation and community development. Why is sea turtle release so important? Sea turtles have existed for more than 100 million years, but today they face multiple threats: Illegal egg poaching Marine pollution and plastics Bycatch from fishing activities Coastal urbanization Climate change Turtle conservation camps protect nests, increase hatchling survival rates, and raise environmental awareness among both locals and visitors. Additionally, these initiatives have allowed many communities to shift from hunting to sustainable ecotourism. Sea Turtle Species Found Along the Coast of Oaxaca Olive Ridley Turtle The most abundant species in the region. It is famous for arribadas, events where thousands of turtles come ashore simultaneously to nest, especially on beaches like Escobilla. Green Turtle Nests on several beaches along the Oaxacan coast and is one of the most protected species. Its nesting season usually peaks between October and March. Hawksbill Turtle Less common, but of great ecological importance. It is critically endangered. Leatherback Turtle The largest sea turtle in the world. Although rare, it has been recorded on some beaches in Oaxaca. Basic Rules for a Responsible Experience To protect sea turtles, it is essential to: Do not use flash or white lights Avoid touching the turtles or handling them roughly Always follow the instructions of the guide and the turtle conservation camp Do not bring pets Maintain silence and show respect Do not leave trash on the beach Remember: this experience is not a show, it is an act of conservation.
