Depending on the dates, we always aim to incorporate elements that reflect our culture, and what better way than through Oaxacan cuisine—featuring tamales, coffee, pan de muerto, chocolate, and more.

Day of the Dead is a celebration rich in symbolism, tradition, and culture. According to INAFED* (2019), in the Indigenous worldview, it represents the temporary return of the souls of the deceased, who come back home, to the world of the living, to spend time with their families and to be nourished by the essence of the food offered on the altars set up in their honor.
